Michael Moore: ‘F—k Hope, Seriously, F---k Hope;’ Trump Will Be ‘Last President Of The U.S.’

Craig Bannister, CNS News

“F—k hope,” because it’s “the lazy way out,” liberal activist filmmaker Michael Moore says in an interview promoting his new anti-Trump film, “Fahrenheit 11/9,” which opens in theaters on September 21.

Legal means and exposing scandals can’t “save the country,” Moore told The Huffington Post in his vulgar attack on “hope”:

“F--k hope. Seriously, f--k hope. F--k despair, too. But f--k hope.

“Hope is passive. Hope gives you permission to let someone else do the work. Hope leads people to believe that tax returns, or a pee tape, or the FBI or an adult film star will save the country. Hope, and the passivity that comes with it, is what helped get us here to begin with. It’s the lazy way out.

“We don’t need hope. We need action.”

“There is a real insurgency taking place” – and it’s coming from an extremely surprising source, Moore said:

4,000 Years Of Price Control

Tablets, said to be 200 years older than the Babylonian Code of Hammurabi ... show that the ancient kingdom of Eshnunna had wage control and price control. The news ought not to have come as a surprise. For the code of Hammurabi itself (unearthed in 1902), which was promulgated earlier than 2000 B.C., fixed prices, wages, interest rates, and fees. This makes price control at least about 4,000 years old. ...

Ironically, it is those who now wish to return to this ancient totalitarian device who are fondest of calling themselves “progressives.” They are also fond of saying that those who believe in economic liberty “are living in the nineteenth century.” These controlists have yet to learn that they themselves are still living, as the discoveries in Babylonia attest, in the nineteenth century—B.C.!
